Getting There

Kiribati has three international gateways, located on Tarawa, Kiritimati, and Kanton Islands.

Tarawa is serviced twice a week by Fiji Airways, offering connections to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Europe through Hong Kong. Nauru Airline operates a return service from Brisbane, Honiara, Nauru, and Tarawa.

Kanton Island is only accessible by private flight and boat charters. For more information on flights and scheduling, contact Fiji Airways or Nauru Airline, and for private charters to Kanton Island, contact Kiribati Tourism’s office.
